Great rural walk/cycling route near Aylesbury easily accessible from Berryfields estate

点评：I really like this walk. I live in Aylesbury Vale so it's very close to me. The main highlights are that it has a lot of scenic views, fields and farmland and such. Which is nice away from the town centre. It is fully paved and very nice to cycle on. There are plenty of large "interestingly designed" wooden benches though they are a bit wobbly these days and need of some maintenance. HS2 works cuts right through the route on the Aylesbury side but the contractors are always very polite and readily stop large trucks just to let 1 person cross the junction. In fact, I felt a little bit bad that I was holding up their work, but it shows they are very respectful and prioritise walkers/cyclists before the big machines. I don't think the walk is ruined by HS2, but some disagree.
The route is very open, in the summer, at midday there is almost no shade - suncream essential if showing flesh. Great for picnics due to the large family-sized benches. Cyclists use the route so keep that in mind. Great for dog-walking but keep dogs on their leads and pick up poop.
I like to sit on the benches for hours (mostly in the evenings due to the aforementioned lack of shade) so i can relax and enjoy being outside. It would be a nice place to take a laptop and do some work if you have mobile internet. Keep in mind the 4/5G reception out there is really spotty at best. It's not usually that busy and everyone i encountered there was polite and friendly. One of the few places im comfortable enough to wear my short shorts.
