Impressive visit to House of Commons

点评：The Hill resembles a building site at present, and a fair bit can’t be seen or visited. It is possible to walk all around the perimeter, which is still worthwhile.
In late April, there were no visits to the Senate or to the Library; but there were free tours of the temporary home of the House of Commons, which has actually been constructed very cleverly on-site. You have to prebook, and go through security on arrival. It’s worth doing a recce to check you know where the entrance is - it isn’t obvious.
You can only take a small bag in, for security reasons. Photos are allowed.
The tour lasts about 40 minutes, with a charming and knowledgeable guide, who dealt ably with the group’s questions.
