点评：Cyprus is a great destination for cycling with clear roads and decent tarmac across the most of it, stunning scenery and really good climbs for those inclined. However that is if you hire a bike from a reputable bike hire shop that knows what maintenance is and how to treat clients when they report failures in the equipment. Extremely poorly maintained bike hired which only became apparent a few miles in to the ride when the rear tyre bead allowed the inner tube to pop through as the tyre basically had perished in that area. Return to shop for replacement - replacement done and on my way - further issues with gear selection, dry chain and brakes, all liveable with but not in any way pleasant given i was planning to ride some pretty long distances over the weeks hire. More issues with front tyre this time, again due to perished tread, so new (very used) tyres and inner tubes sent out as i was in Ayi Napa and shop in Larnaca and said i can change them over if sent out.
rest of holiday got by, with the other issues still there but bearable. Return bike with Colin not there to speak to. Come home and find a significant charge levied from Larnaca pro cycle to my card without my consent or knowledge, for replacement tyres and tubes, as well as a further charge for not returning to old perished tyre with the bike !!!! - Colin refused to discuss or refund any monies - got bank involved and they were not able to recover monies as Colin stated this is all in the Ts and Cs you sign up to.
Steer very clear of this guy and this shop - there are others and they will be counting on repeat business im sure and if you do get involved check meticulously the bike and maintenance before leaving the shop
