Women’s section sucks, tattoos are unclear

点评：ATTENTION LADIES:
Anyone who think this onsen is cool is a guy. We went as a group of friends. I was shocked by the lack of facilities for women compared to men. My friend and I in the women’s section thought it was pretty mid. Kiddie sized 5-6 pools. There was a sauna but no cold water plunge which we thought was odd. We stayed there for a while and the best thing was honestly laying on tatami mats. Then we talked to my husband and our friends and we find the men’s section had large pools and small pools which they described kind of like waterfalls, a cold water plunge and a dryer system which dries you in a couple seconds after you get out. Well, we didn’t have that state of the art drying systems but we had a weird ass fan in front of the door when we came back, so there is that.
Also, if you have tattoos they’re weird about that too. They don’t say they don’t allow it. They said only 1 a couple of times which we though one tattoo is ok but others not? They asked me to go private but they couldn’t be clear about that even with the translation app. Then when I went inside, there were people with a couple tattoos. Apparently men’s section had someone who was completely covered. So that part was not clear. But I wouldn’t say this place is tattoo friendly, they have warnings everywhere about tattoos.
