点评:We took the metro to Jean Drapeau Park and were dropped off right in front of the Biosphere. Excellent service, thank you very much. Especially because the park itself is free to enter.
The Biosphere is, quite simply, a museum wrapped in a photogenic metal geodesic dome. So, unless you’re a passionate museum-goer, you’ll probably be done here rather quickly.
We decided to wander around the park aimlessly. Along the way, we stumbled upon a beautiful old stone tower (Tour de Lévis from 1930), a fantastic panoramic view of Montreal’s waterfront with the clock tower and Ferris wheel—
—and the nicest public restroom we’ve ever encountered anywhere in the world. On the ground floor, there was a plush sofa plus vending machines for drinks and snacks. Downstairs were the clean, well-maintained restrooms in underground corridors that reminded us of a fallout bunker.
By the way, you can rent electric scooters right next to the metro station here if you don’t feel like walking on your tired feet.
