Roaches, mold, glass, road noise, harassment from staff and fellow campers

点评：This place is fine for hiking, but we had the worst camping experience here. The bathrooms are practically unusable and should be completely rebuilt. They’re damp, moldy, and covered in roaches. The showers absolutely could not be used due to how moldy and disgusting they were. I had a roach try to crawl up my butt while on the toilet. We also ended up bringing them home with us and now have to keep killing roaches in our apartment. There’s also a ton of broken glass at many of the sites. The road noise is pretty unbearable at a lot of the sites too. It seems like they could have picked better spots in the park for the campsites. Many of the sites also flood in the rain.
It rained heavily right before checking out of one spot and into another and it took us longer than expected to take down our 2 tents because we had to dry everything, so we ended up being there an hour after checkout without realizing (our phones had died). A park ranger came and accused us of taking a spot we hadn’t paid for (despite providing all of our info online including car make, model, and license plates that he could have confirmed). When we said we’d paid and been there 4 days and were packing up to move to another site we booked, it seemed like he didn’t believe us and he encouraged the couple who had our spot after us to harass us. We were getting packed up as fast as we could but they all kept circling around us and staring at us. Eventually the couple parked across from us and just stood there staring with their arms crossed. I’m disabled and my partner was the one having to take down the tents himself. They should allow an hour or more between check out and check in, most campsites do.
