Spencer Park - Camp and Quiet!

点评：Aloha, we are residents from east side of the island escaping to west side for a 2 day camping trip to Spencer Park!
Camping to the far right, looked like the park was home to some homeless - not sure they check campers but we did see a security guard in the early morning one time.
Con- not really a con but BEWARE - sea urchins in beach water - STAY IN SANDY areas when in water - wear protective footwear! Some campers who look like they may frequent this park - lol
Pros- great walks on paved path, not crowded, reserve online $5.00 residents, $20 non-residents, quiet, walking distance to Hawaiian Heiau Rock Temple, amazing Museum with a lot of local history - indoor showers, plenty of bathrooms, outside wash stainless sink, large picnic tables and one for each camp site area, large covered, pavilion with over 20 picnic tables, concrete BbQs with metal grate - bring scraper to clean them, nearby ocean and easy walk to beach every morning.
We camped on far right side but we would camp on far right side next time - not as rugged! Grass and better views!
Less than 5 miles away - Amazing Blue Dragon Restaurant & Bar with music most weekends, great burgers!
Also nearby - high end Sicilian Restaurant Cipiarani - spelling off a little
Amazing breakfast $25.00 per person and worth it!!!!! Gluten free items too!
