Good Massage, But the Rest Was a Disappointment

点评：I recently visited the Kilolani Spa at the Grand Wailea and had a mixed experience. The massage itself was excellent—professional, relaxing, and exactly what I needed. The therapist was skilled and attentive, and I left the treatment room feeling physically refreshed.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not live up to expectations. The staff at the front desk and throughout the facility were not particularly friendly or helpful, which was disappointing for a place that presents itself as a luxury destination.
The locker room was extremely crowded, poorly maintained, and not clean. It felt chaotic and unhygienic, which is the opposite of what you want in a spa environment. Even worse was the hydrotherapy water area—absolutely disgusting. There was hair all over the place, standing water on the floors, and zero guidance from staff on where to go or what to do. It felt more like a neglected public pool than a high-end wellness facility.
While the massage was a highlight, the overall experience was severely let down by cleanliness issues and poor customer service. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others looking for a relaxing, well-run spa environment in Maui.
