点评：Even if you have been to other markets during your visit to Oaxaca, this one downtown is a must as you explore the many things the city has to offer. You can find all kinds of things on sale here, from food, to spices, to live animals.
Make sure to start from one end and walk each halways as you uncover all kinds of different products and get to experience the colors of Mexico and in particular, this part of the country.
Nowadays, a lot of the merchants accept credit cards as they have found it helps reduce the number of lost sales, when people do not bring enough cash.
I strongly suggest that you do not argue about the price of things that you really like. This people take days, weeks or even months to finish each one of their creations and; eventhough sometimes they might be tempted to take any offer they get, this will definitely have an impact on the amount of money comes back home to feed their families.
See them as art pieces and not just a small present for a family member that you will bring back home.
