Extremely Poor Management/Respect of Public

点评：After a month of planning. My family and I traveled 2 hours to The Gray Fossil Site. I had confirmed through their site info again that they were open that day. Their site stated that the museum was open from 10am until 5pm.
Upon arrival, I was told that the museum was closed to the public that day for a convention.
I had just wasted a 4 hour drive (both directions) as well as disappointing my family’s field trip.
I do not understand how this organization, with all of its intellectual resources can be so inconsiderate of the public who provide a large portion of their operating funds. I have personally provided some of these funds myself, but I can assure you it will not happen again. I might suggest that if you wish to donate, that you consider an organization who respects their supporters.
After reading other reviews, it appears that this has occurred before to other travelers.
Do not rely on their web site for accurate information.
