Excellent value for money, friendly staff. Absolutely no guarantee with whale sharks, in fact very low chance with thes

点评：Mixed feelings. Weather wasn't great for our whole stay, so visibility was poor and they didn't want to travel far from the island, so not easy to see mantas or whalesharks without a 1.5 hour journey to the area. They didn't have plans to go, even though my quote included manta and whale shark dive (by the way that is one dive, not 2). The group on the boat complained, so we did go out to the area (near Radisson Blu hotel). We did see mantas, In face I had a fabulous dive, but no whale sharks.
HOWEVER.... be advised if you are lucky enough to see a whale shark, word soon gets out, if you are one of the 1st boats great, you may get a couple of minutes. But as soon as word gets out - immediately you are surrounded by up to 30 boats with 1 whaleshark. It was not nice and cruel to see others footage, so in a way I was glad we did not chase, but i would of liked to be in the area every day to perphaps get a chance to see.
Of course the dive boat is slow. Other boats are speed boats, so when they hear there is a whaleshark, they can get there quickly, south ari cannot , so it is pure luck and I was not in luck.
With regards to the dive centre, they booked our accommodation, which was what we expected, I have done a seperate review on that. Dangethi is a dry island and only 1 small beach area to sunbathe in swimwear or it is keep covered. Neither a problem to me, but just want you to be aware.
The diving boat /staff were friendly, efficient as I didn't have a buddy, i was with the instructor and they really looked after me. I felt safe, even when I had a weight issue or the currents were very strong!!! they would hook me to the reef or even hold my hand!!! But hopefully you wont get such bad weather or strong currents.
Would I return, probably not. Would I recommend, yes. It was excellent value for money.
