Highlight of our Fiji trip
Sigatoka River Safari的点评
点评：I’d have to say, today was definitely the highlight of the trip. Short feedback is: just do it and go!!!
Long feedback is:
Picked up by the tour bus at the resort with some commentary on the way to Sigatoka and the boat jetty. Can’t remember the names but as usual with Fiji, super friendly with a few laughs thrown in.
Our boat captain “Hot Laps” was both a great driver and commentator at various stop points to give some history and info on tribal/village customs and village life.
The village visit was great with a welcoming ceremony, Carva ceremony, some fantastic local village food for lunch (very filling and delicious), and finally some dancing with the villagers playing guitar and singing.
On the way home, Hot Laps performed a few spins in the boat…..nothing too radical as there is kids to seniors on the boat but it catered for everyone, really really fun to end the day with.
You do get wet with the jet boat stunts…..so bring a dry top if required. These are very very happy and simple living communities and there is an opportunity to be a little generous if you wish to do so.
