点评：We booked 2 experiences with Tasiermiut in Qaqortoq The first was the gastronomic buffet lunch which was very enjoyable with a wide range of local delicacies ( including beers ) on offer. There was plenty of food and we found most things to our taste ! We would definitely repeat it if we ever return. There was a very clear and informative description of the food on offer and the chef was friendly and talked to us about some aspects of the food preparation and so on.
The second experience was a close - up visit by rib inflatable high - speed boat to see nearby icebergs and it proved to be the highlight of our whole 16-night cruise. It was everything we had hoped and expected it would be !. We departed punctually, we were kitted out with weather/waterproof clothing very simply and easily and were taken immediately to see the 2 largest icebergs in our vicinity. Our guide spoke knowledgably but not too scientifically about what we were seeing and give us insight to the social/practical aspects local folk live with every day when confronted with iceberg phenomina. It was a sort but highly interesting talk and we were taken to as close a range as I had expected to get to. We had ample time to take photos of the icebergs and in fact got some great shots. The ones we saw were classed as " big" and were roughly the size equivalent to 5 football fields. A truly unforgettable experience. Throughout our experience the organisation, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff were excellent.
