点评:We had an informative and fun tour of the farm with James. I love all of the produce they grow and loved learning how so many of the parts of the plant are used. The interactive nature of the tour was great—I loved smelling crushed leaves and tasting all sorts of fruits and flowers. We enjoyed an amazing 4 course lunch that began with a beautiful salad (greens, veggies, tomatoes and flowers) along with the most delicious focaccia. The fish course was a moist marlin with lovely black rice (with garlic chives) and a beautiful avocado based purée. Next was grilled boneless chicken thighs—juicy and marinated served with a kale slaw and a parsnip and rutabaga purée (WOW). Roasted parsnips on the side too. Fresh fruit and homemade chocolate truffles finished the meal—along with delicious homegrown coffee. Perfect Kula day.
