Very disappointing visit
Spoilt Green Eco-Spa的点评
点评：Eco - Green Spa (Drakensberg Sun) We booked for the spoilt spa package 1 for a couple - R1900.00. If googled this package is for 2 hours so you are assuming 2 hours of treatment (no further explanation on the Spa Menu) We booked for 13.15pm (04 May 2024). We were asked to arrive 10 minutes early, we got there at 12.50 and the 4 therapists were having lunch at the front of the spa and talking very loudly. I understand everyone needs a lunch break but the spa area is supposed to be a place of quiet and the front area looks like it us supposed to be the place guests wait in peace for their treatment. Right up to 13.15 they continued to chat and so by the time we were shown to the room and given the allocated time to undress etc we started the massages 5 to 10 minutes late. The next 50 minutes were bliss and we really did enjoy the first "hour". Then the lights were switched on bright, we were told to dress and wait. We sat in the room for over 10 minutes with no communication from any as to what was happening, all that time the therapists were talking loudly in their kitchen / utility roomto the side. The then came into the room, adjusted the beds and put on a new towel and said we could lie back (in the blaring lights) whilst they fetched "the water". This took another 10 to 12 minutes with them out the room and chatting up a storm again in the kitchen / utility room next door. We then had 10 minutes of a foot file and exfoliation and our feet we soaked into a gel. The therapists left the room again, this was the only time they informed us they would be gone for 15 minutes whilst our feet soaked. Back to the kitchen they went and the chatting continued. They were back after 17 minutes to wash our feet and massage. So for the 2 hour package, the first hour would have been bliss if we had started in a quiet environment and on time but the second hour was disastrous and we had the therapists only "doing" actually therapy for about 20 minutes of the hour. This is never explained when you book, when you arrive or even during the treatment. Had we got there and been told exactly what to expect, as well as have the proper time given to us, and no loud chatting outside whilst we waited through each grueling stage of the second hour a lot of disappointment could have been avoided. Maybe even put the guests outside for the second hour and offer a glass of juice whilst they wait and could watch the mountains and ensure nobody chats loudly whilst guest are supposed to be resting / unwinding- it could have been so different.
