点评:I don't generally write negative reviews, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. I had stayed at Mill Falls before, and expected the furniture and rooms to be dated. But what I didn't expect was a check in at another location which was not verbally communicated when making a direct reservation. Eventually, they were able to check me in at the Mill Falls location, but only after a phone call and conversation with someone off site.
In addition, the amount of cobwebs around the room gave a creepy feel to the place, and add to that a large spider on the ceiling. The girl at the front desk down the street was friendly and helpful, and it certainly was not her fault that the vacuum cleaner had not been emptied, was clogged and needed the dirt and hair cleaned out before I was able to use it to remove the spider. When I mentioned the difficulty with the check in process, the woman I spoke to showed no empathy and made me to feel as though it was my fault for not reading the fine print in an email confirmation.
The room was not inexpensive, included a $40 resort fee on top the room rate, and the pet fee, which was expected, included an "occupancy tax". I often travel with my dog, and have never had an occupancy tax applied to the pet.
