点评：It's difficult to put into words the amount of beauty and culture I've experienced in this country over the last 13 days.
Before I even started my trip Shakuni from Olanka built an intensive itinerary for me based on what I wanted to see. The quick responses and professionalism made me feel at complete ease traveling halfway around the world. I even had some last-minute changes that were quickly handled even though Shakuni had to go out of her way to get them done.
My guide, Mr Manu (Manupriya Jagoda), was a complete saint throughout the whole experience. We basically road tripped together from the west coast to the southern east coast and back. Sigiriya, Dambulla Cave Temple, Kandy, Ella, Yala, Udawalawe, Sinharaja, and Bentota were the main spots throughout the trip. There wasn't a city we went to where Manu didn't know the history of the area, the best spots to stop at outside of the itinerary, and what was better for me compared to other travelers. It's a really great feeling when you're on the road with someone that long, and you actually feel like you connect with them. I can not say enough good things about Manu and will probably invite him to my wedding one day.
Beyond the normal trip, I had a goal in mind of getting a tattoo while I was over here. Manu introduced me to a friend of his and I now have a permanent stamp of my trip. The work his friend did is beautiful and frankly, saved me a ton of money compared to the original tattoo artist I was going to go with.
The country itself is beyond beautiful, but the personalized experience from start to finish made this truly unforgettable. I can't wait until I can come back and am truly thankful for what I've experienced over here
