点评:I'm surprised some people didn't see any orangutans, I thought this was a place pretty well guaranteed to give you sightings since they have tourists coming at feeding time. I think you'd need to be very unfortunate not to see any, so definitely worth a visit.
I managed to get some great photos of some orangutan action and of a couple of baby ones, which I was delighted about. The photos and other reviews kind of say it all so I've not much to add, other than :-
1. It gets very, very, very humid out in this setting. One guy next to me was sweating so much it was dripping off his nose! Wear a quick-dry top for sure.
2. There is a bit of a walk out to the feeding platforms and then standing about to wait when there so bear in mind especially with the heat and humidity.
3. The ropeway the prangutans use is waaaaay above the feeding platform. You really need a good camera to zoom in and see them (not just your phone).
4. The action at the feeding platform can be somewhat 'staged' looking. However, the guides are always on the lookout for orangutans in the trees. We were lucky enough to see a mother and baby up there in a natural habitat. Such instances make for much better photos so don't just stand and wait/watch at the platforms, move around and spot ones 'in the wild' so to speak.
