Costa Rica Focus的点评
点评：Our 20 day independent birdwatching tour booked with Costa Rica Focus surpassed our expectations.
The process from quotation, to booking, to logistics, to guided tours, to customer service was all impeccable. We had a large number of transfers and every single one was either early or on time.
Costa Rica Focus advised us on the best places to go to see a wide range of birds and environments - they were careful to make sure that the tour fitted our personal requirements in terms of level of activity.
Particular stand out places that we visited were Cerro Lodge with the scarlet macaws and the amazing trip down the Tarcoles River. The stunning Corcovado Wilderness Lodge which was a five star experience from start to finish. Here, as well as lots of amazing birds, we saw Tapirs, Coatis, lots of monkeys, a Puma, and swam with sea turtles. Finally the wetlands near Cano Negro were magical.
We saw about 250 species of bird most of which were new to us as first time visitors to Central America.
The guiding was excellent - using local guides meant that we often got the benefit of local knowledge of where to best spot interesting birds. In particular Wilky in Tarcoles, Wilson at Sarapiqui, and Barnaby at Cano Negro were phenomenal.
We were looked after throughout the process by Jess who dealt immediately with any enquiry from us and also made us feel welcomed and looked after throughout. She went the extra mile arranging birthday treats for me in various of the hotels. She checked in via WhatsApp with us throughout the holiday which was hugely appreciated.
This was for us the trip of a lifetime and Costa Rica Focus made it effortless for us to just enjoy the spectacular nature and wildlife of this beautiful country. I would not hesitate to highly recommend booking your birding trip with Costa Rica Focus.
