Skyride to Paradise Point的点评
点评：This is a fun little excursion to do. We had it listed as an excursion on our Royal Caribbean Cruise aboard Icon of the Seas. It was included in a few different excursions that each made multiple stops. Unfortunately by the time we made our selections they were all sold out.
There are 2 cruise ports in Charolette Amalie, St Thomas. It is a short taxi ride from the Crowns Bay port where we docked over to Havensight Cruise port where the SkyRide is a very short walk. If you dock at Havensight, I would recommend you do not buy it as a package from the cruise line. Even from Crowns Bay, I would recommend you do this excursion on your own.
We went straight there, and the lineup was very short. We got great views while riding up the gondola and even better views from the top.
There’s a restaurant at the top, along with some gift shops. We had a quick drink, but aside from that we just enjoyed the views before riding back down. Once we got to the bottom, the cruise tours had clearly arrived and the lineup was insanely long. This is why I recommend doing this on your own and arriving earlier in the day, before the cruise excursion tours arrive and overrun the place.
We bought a combo ticket that gave us admission to the Pirates Shipwreck museum as well. Though there did not seem to be any savings from doing this, so perhaps just buy one at a time and see how you’re feeling once you’re done the first activity.
