点评:Maybe my review is a bit unfair but I was expecting a mudbath here on this trip but I think I got my excursions mixed up.
We arrived on virgin gorda via a 30 min ferry ride then took a bus to the baths. We didn't have our guide as advertised so was left to our own devices. We followed signs, asked someone along the way, whom in the end wasn't been clear or good at giving directions. We were stood at the fork at the signs and he said the beach to our left was spectacular and better than the caves as it was packed with people. We took his advice and took the left path but was left with q small area of sand and lots of massive rocks. This is not my definition of a beach. Others agreed. There was a main made path that would lead you on a hike but it is over steep rocks. We decided to turn back as it was a waste of time on the 'beach' and one of us wasn't equipped to be scrambling over rocks.
We retraced our steps and back to the fork proceeded to go straight down and there was another fork. We turned left ...and what would you have...a beach! The guy must have meant this one. Originally he even saw us turn left at the place he told us to turn left and didn't say it was the wrong way. But nevermind, what's done is done.
The beach has some man made umbrellas and a sectioned off area with markers in the sea. It is nice an relaxing to stay for a bit. Be aware there arecno lifeguards on duty here at all.
Bring swimming aids if you cannot swim.
Entry is $3 each.
We walked down to the baths after...at this point, still expecting mudbaths, when I realised the baths was juts pockets of sea.
We left as we didn't want to trawl through caves
