点评：I wanted to love this experience, but only ended up liking it. Everything was a little rough around the edges, and the itinerary we experienced for the two-night package was quite different than what was posted on the website. The optional boat ride we added was not at all a good experience; way too much time was spent on a bone-jarring tractor ride on a rutted road and "fishing" in water that our guide cheerfully admitted had no fish.
On the upside, we had several wonderful rural experiences, visiting local craftspeople and just enjoying the people and the scenery. The area clearly does not see many Western faces, as we were minor celebrities everywhere we went, especially to the countless beautiful children who greeted us as we passed. The food was simple but tasty, and our guesthouse was perfectly adequate (we opted for one with AC and private bathroom, though it turned out not to have hot water). Our guide was friendly and attentive, though for English speakers language was a bit of a barrier.
Overall, I would recommend this activity; you will experience things you probably couldn't experience otherwise. We stayed three nights; I think two would be just right.
