Very disappointing experience
Grgich Hills Estate的点评
点评：I came here on a visit to Napa as I was familiar with the winery from my days as a member of a local wine organization through which I had previously met Mike Grgich and Austin Hills.
Unfortunately, my visit was utterly disappointing. I had to get a staff member's attention to get seated, and despite the fact that there were plenty of seats available, I was put in a seat directly facing a wonderful view of...a door to a staff area. My host was slow and someone else had to take my order for a glass of wine. When my host did arrive, she was unenthusiastic.
I remember the days when wine tastings in Napa were free. Times change and that's OK, but if you're going to charge >$60 for a tasting and $20+ for a glass of wine, at least provide a service that matches the prices. That a storied brand that helped put the valley on the map delivered such a poor experience is quite sad.
