点评：You can taste when something was made with legacy.
Silver Oak doesn’t just pour wine... they pour intent, integrity, and a damn good cabernet. This wasn’t our first wine stop in Napa, but it may be the one we talk about most, especially after a few glasses (responsibly, of course).
This was a Workcation meets grown-up field trip. Justin and I made a day of it... no kids, no meetings, just the two of us and some world-class wine in one of the most beautifully designed, sustainable, and intentionally Napa spaces you can imagine.
Silver Oak Napa is elevated, but not pretentious.
Our host walked us through our tasting like it was a masterclass in storytelling. I coach leaders for a living, and let me tell you... there’s something about how they talk about their wine that every executive could learn from. Passion. Purpose. A little humor. And a lot of knowing who you are.
The Wine? Legendary. We went for the Cabernet Sauvignon tasting (because obviously), and I was not disappointed. Layered, bold, and silky... basically everything I strive to be at work and at dinner.
Every sip tasted like it had a point of view.
Even the stemware felt important. Which you get to keep, by the way.
We lingered on the 2019 vintage. Justin declared it his new studio wine. I called it “good enough to cancel my next Zoom.” We both agreed it’s what we’ll be gifting clients we actually like.
Yes, we bought wine. And merch. And took an embarrassing number of photos.
Also: shoutout to the person curating their wine accessories... because YES! You understand the assignment.
Silver Oak feels like a celebration of doing things well and doing them for the right reasons. It’s a reminder that excellence can be warm. That premium can still be personal.
