点评:Definitely a worthwhile stop if you're an aviation enthusiast! This combined with Sakuranoyama Park are definitely must-dos if you want to spend a day of Narita planespotting beyond the observation decks at the terminals.
The indoor and outdoor exhibits themselves feature retired equipment from airlines that have served Narita (it was a treat seeing some of the old Northwest barcalounger World Business Class seats on that 747 cross section!) while the observation deck has some fantastic views of Runway 34L/16R that serves as the primary runway. If you time it right in the afternoon, the constant stream of arriving then departing flights feeding the Asia-North America connecting banks would provide a constant stream of aircraft to view.
Weekends may be busier but may also include additional interactive activities. We were lucky to have visited while Japan Airlines hosted such an event that included simulations like sorting packages into LD3 containers, aircraft marshaling, and tow truck rides.
If I recall as well, the gift shop in the lobby has almost all the same products as the museum gift shop in Terminal 1's 5th floor shopping mezzanine before security so there's second chance opportunities if you were thinking about an aviation-themed gift!
