Great Tour led by an amazing tour guide, experience ruined by others.

点评：The Mangrove kayak tour was one of the most anticipated tours of our trip.
Our guide was kind and passionate about the mangroves and the ecosystem.
Straight to the negatives. Our group was too large. 14 People should not be expected to navigate the tight spaces. Tip: Find a small or private tour.
Show up early or on time so you can hear the educational speech before the tour.
A group of 10 in our tour showed up 20 minutes late. I understand waiting 5-10 minutes. The road there is rough, but 20 minutes is just inconsiderate to those who came early/on time.
The tour guide gave instructions at each turn, advising that in order to see the wildlife in the mangroves, you had to be quiet. Makes sense, right? Well, the group of 10 thought it was more fun to play bumper boats and be loud and boisterous the entire trip. I saw NO wildlife on this trip.
We tried being at the head of the group to hear the guide and hopefully see some wildlife before the group scared them away. This led to being crashed into and hit in the head with an oar.
We ended up hanging back in the rear of the group and taking our time to enjoy the sights. This tactic led to not hearing the guide and missing any possibility of wildlife.
The snorkle part was even worse. They didn't listen to the instructions not to walk in the sand because it would stir up the sand. Needless to say, we saw nothing.
We made the best of a bad situation and would do it again to support the cause, but maybe find a private tour.
I wish the guide had the foresight to correct the bad behavior of the others and had the foresight that some people are actually there to learn and be respectful of the environment.
And a tip to others, before you talk sh*t about other people, make sure they're not also multilingual.
