Fantastic zoo and well worth a visit!

点评：The Oasis Wildlife park is a must for when you’re visiting Fuerteventura. The range of animals is incredible displaying mostly animals from Africa and animals you cannot find in the UK! They look happy and so well looked after. The enclosures are huge and it’s great to see them look so comfortable in their habitats. The botanical garden is also huge and perfect if you’re a cactus lover. There are sign posts everywhere telling you where each plant is from and the information on the animals is quite detailed. Walking around the park is quite tough especially on a hot day but there are plenty of benches and areas for shade for when you need a short rest. There is the option for electric scooters if you’re not comfortable with distances. We watched Fauna Live and Sea Lion Live which are free shows shown at specific times in the park. They were informative, interesting and entertaining so I’d recommend to go and see these, plus they’re free. I booked tickets through Get Your Guide as they were the cheapest and the bus tickets through the zoo’s website. €5 each for a 45 min journey, there and back which is a bargain. The only downsides we found were that the restaurant we came across was very expensive for the same food we had in our hotel so we didn’t bother but if you’re not all inclusive it’s worth it. We declined the Lemur experience however wasn’t aware that we wouldn’t see them AT ALL so bear that in mind. The gift shop was huge but they only had soft toys and merchandise for children, I wish they had a bit more variety with their branding. My main bit of advice is that if you buy the snack bags for the animals, leave the fruit for the giraffes as they weren’t interested in the grass. Overall the park is fantastic and I would definitely recommend.
