点评：We loved loved loved this Live Aboard Kayak & Snorkeling trip aboard the lovely Jakare. My husband is not really a swimmer or kayaker but he was in the water snorkeling every opportunity , the marine life was so good and accessible and the water was so warm. He also never missed a paddle session as we saw such diverse scenery.
Our room was spacious with a huge ensuite. The 10 staff who looked after us on the boat were amazing always there to help and wouldn't let us do anything except relax and eat between excursions. The food was plentiful and varied so always something you could choose to eat. Hot drinks and soft drinks included but needed to buy others from the 'bar'.
We were kept pretty busy (but did also have relaxing times) with either paddling, snorkeling or walking excursions, which you could opt out off if you wished. Most of our long sailing was done over night.
Frank our kayak guide kept us all working together and seemed very good at pleasing everyone where possible.
My favourite times over the two weeks were (maybe not in order) 1. snorkeling amongst the jelly fish at Jelly Fish Lake - mind blowing 2. The unexpected time we got to swim with a group of about 10 manta rays we found feeding - WoW 3. snorkeling on our last day near a wharf where we saw some gaint Neopolean fish (Humphead wrasse)
This trip was a little more luxurious and hence more expensive than we would normally take but was well worth it. Travel to Sorong can be a bit tiresome but also worth the effort to experience the wonderful Raja Ampat. So if you are considering this trip or similar Just Do It.
