The information takes a bit of research online and the first results usually don’t mention the airline name. I wish I had found out before booking.
The actual experience :
Went directly to the airport to book a flight for Nasca. This airline in particular was waiting at the entrance to pick up people.
After a lot of negotiation, the guy insisted that I book with him which I took as a commercial tactic and nothing else. Price was good so I accepted. During the 1h waiting time between the moment I booked and the flight, I found out that this is the airline that crashed in 2022. I wasn’t so happy about it and would have picked another just out of principles.
Turns out I got merged with another group of 3 on another airline as I was the only one flying with this one. So even though I went through them, I felt better in the end and the flight and the experience were good.
Honestly, people were killed 2 years ago. I would assume the Peruvian government is extra careful now with maintenance and pilot skills. But they still crashed a plane resulting in casualties, and considering there are at least 10 other companies, I would not pick this one out of principles.
