点评:We went during the holy week and understandably can be extremely busy. Our trip was Bacolod to Dumangas and vv. We arrived early for the 6am trip (4:15am) so that we can secure tickets. Mind you, we went the day before to purchase tickets in advance but were not allowed to do so (again, can understand, if this was their protocol). When we got there, they've asked us to queue. However, they've totally disregarded the queue and started letting people get ahead. There were people who've made online bookings and were prioritized. This was not explained to us when we went there the day before, that we could book online.
Towards the end, there were four vehicles waiting to be loaded but apparently, they only had two spaces left. One of the staff 'chose' which two can go, totally disregarding again the car owners in queue. He had to be reprimanded by one angry customer to change his mind.
In the end, we weren't able to get seats for the 6am trip due to them very disorganized. There were loads of angry customers as the queue was not respected at all.
The boat was late as well. And for the 10am trip, we left at around 11:30. I understand that this can be due to safety checks, etc, however, there was no advice/announcement/apology whatsoever for the incovenience. They just didn't care about people's time, expecting people to just accept that this is how it's done.
It was the same for our trip home, very delayed, staff at the counter apparently allocated the same set of seat numbers to two different groups (double booked) and had to re-do things. The trip was for 5pm and we left at 7:30pm. Again, no announcement/advice/apology. I don't understand how this is just tolerated and the management just don't do anything about this.
I'm giving this two stars because the saving grace is the crew aboard. Very helpful and accommodating. If not for them, this would be a one star rating.
