The best way to explore Kerala

点评：Kerala is an extremely beautiful place and being able to explore by bike was magical. A large reason for that was the route that has been evolved by Mike to be as interesting and relaxed as possible. The cycling was of moderate difficulty with some more tiring days, but every effort was worth it as you stopped in local villages and at local tea houses for amazing snacks and refreshments.
The tour itself could not have been run better. Mike and Deepak were so supportive and attentive throughout each day, Tumbe was an expert at navigating the van through the small roads, and the selected hotels were each unique but consistent in cleanliness and comfort. The bikes were of high quality and when the inevitable small issues arose it was quickly fixed with a smile and confidence-inspiring knowledge. Mikes passion for the region was obvious with him excited to show us the local locations and traditions (morning drink of toddy anyone?) and Deepak’s hospitality was never ending, every time you thought of something you might want he was already ahead of you and making it happen in an unassuming way.
I really cannot think of any better way to visit Kerala and any future India cycle trips we take will certainly be with Mountain Bike Kerala.
