点评:Easily accessible via bus and the Nagasaki ropeway this viewing point overs excellent views across the city of Nagasaki. The viewing point is about a 200 meter walk away from the ropeway, some of which is undercover of a light tunnel making this quite pretty at night. There is no further climbing at all as this walk is all on level ground. At the end you will see the round observation building (inside is a small pop-up style café) and a sloped spiral walkway taking you to the top which houses a small, overpriced restaurant and open-air viewing platform.
The building is quite dated and encased in glass making it possible to still see outside through the large windows. The open-air viewing platform however is where you want to be as this offers unapparelled views over the city. There are also a couple of pay per view binoculars about too. I visited about 7pm so whilst there were a few tourists about it wasn't all busy with them. This is one attraction not to miss on as its essentially free to do (excluding the ropeway itself) and offers excellent views.
Be sure to wrap up warm during the winter and secure any loose items as it was windy at the top and very cold.
