点评：Aloha General brings a lot of North Shore character and is located in an accessible corner spot right off the main road in Haleiwa. It certainly caters to tourists and has loads of trinkets, gifts, beach towels, ect. If that’s your thing. Almost like a mini ABC store without the liquor and frozen food.
Anyway, you come here for the shave ice, not the shopping. Their shave isn’t good.. it’s great! They have plenty of tropical flavors, combination recommendations and will do it local style with vanilla ice cream in the bottom. You want it snow capped with condensed milk? They do that too.
You’ll see a snaked line out the door of Matsumoto’s up the road, but Aloha General’s shave ice is just as good in my opinion and you’ll likely save some time.
One point of caution.. their shave ice counter is cash only so prepare accordingly. Try this place out and support local!
