The Kinema in the Woods的点评
点评：In an era when cinemas have become huge and impersonal and expensive, the Kinema in the Woods has just got it right; it is cosy, friendly, affordable and just the most wonderful experience; good sized screens but limited audience numbers and really comfy seats with bags of leg room.
The unexpected bit .... half way through the film, the screen went blank and the word 'INTERMISSION' was projected onto it (the Kinema uses back projection for all those cinema buffs).
We walked in the shadow of the locals and went to use the facilities and then headed to the Foyer where there was an ice cream stand and another for popcorn, drinks and sweets - again, all affordable and in common sense sized portions.
The Foyer was very traditional, film posters everywhere (and you could purchase ones from past films), a Dalek (yes! and I STILL want to go and hide behind the sofa whenever I see one).
We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening - free parking adjacent to the Kinema, although if you fancy a walk through the woods, the paths are well lit.
Such a wonderful resource and it must be great to have it on one's doorstep. A visit to Woodhall Spa demands a visit to this fabulous Kinema in the Woods.
