Wonju Sogeumsan Mountain Suspension Bridge的点评
点评：Bus from Seoul Express Bus Station to Wonju costs 7500 KRW and takes about an hour and half.
Step out of the station southward and get to the bus stop.
We didn't find line 58 here so we took line 57.
This ride takes about an hour because is makes about 10 stops in the satellite town Gagok-ri.
The bus will take you to around 1000 m from the starting point of your tour.
On return, because there were some roadwork at the starting bus top, we walked to Wonju Rail Park and got the bus line 58 from there. Ride took some 30 minutes avoiding Gagok-ri.
Note that Wonju Rail Park appears to be permanently closed. (August 2024)
Now lets get to the main attraction.
Ticket is 9000 KRW.
They don't accept foreign credit cards.
Hike takes two and half hours and half of it is in the shade.
Get plenty of water because you cannot buy anything once you enter.
Your trip is one way. You cannot go to the Yellow bridge only.
Blue bridge is some 200 meters long and feels and swings like a real suspension bridge.
Yellow bridge is newer, 400 meters long and stable as if it was a railroad bridge made of concrete. Much less exciting that the Blue one.
Path between Blue and Yellow for the most part is a metal construction mounted to the edge of a cliff. Amazing too.
