点评:Good trip. We arrived at approximately 10:30 am and made our way towards the entrance of the submarine. After paying the admission fee, we stood by the entrance while a volunteer gave us some background information on the ship. The volunteer was quite passionate and was able to point out some prominent exterior features on the submarine. After the introduction we boarded the submarine and enjoyed picturesque views of Lake Erie from the top of the ship. We then climbed down a steep ladder to get a look inside. The submarine was nicely preserved and contained many original pieces of equipment and technology. There were informational plaques located in front of each room, that detailed what we were seeing in front of us. There were also prerecorded audio clips in several of the rooms, that gave us a glimpse of what life was like on the submarine, several decades ago. We took our time exploring each room and imagining how cramped the workers on the ship must have felt. The passageways were quite narrow and there was not much room to maneuver around. We then climbed up a steep ladder to make our way back outside. There was a makeshift memorial nicely decorated with flowers next to the submarine.
Tip: I recommend spending 1 hour here if you truly want to see everything.

小贴士:如果你真的想看完所有东西,我建议你在这里待一个小时。
