Museum of the Moving Image的点评
点评：We took advantage of free admission day so we could check out the Jim Henson Exhibition. Turns out it is just down the street from the Kaufman Astoria Studios ("Succession" and other HBO productions).
The Jim Henson exhibit was phenomenal. We learned a lot about his back story and how he got into puppeteering before shows like "Sesame Street" and "The Muppets" were in the mainstream. It was cool to see actual puppets used on the shows.
The rest of the museum is a history of many movie-related things. From a historical view of the evolution of cameras, to sound being used to special effects and make-up, anyone who loves how movies are made will enjoy this.
There weren't any movies showing the day we were there, but check out their schedule because they have some that you won't find anywhere else.
