The museum amazing unforgetable , but the staff biased

点评：This museum is the only one of its kind in the netherlands, we allocated a day to see it and pretty much needed the whole day. There is loads to see and it is presented very well from the dutch prospective from the beginning of this countries history to the modern day, so we were thrilled to see roman history included - really well done. Dont forget to walk around outside at all the exhibits. The shop inside is excellent like all things dutch very expensive, we were convinced no value in this place. One problem and bias we noticed was the staff telling you that you cannot take a medium cross body bag around with you, NOT a backpack ( lockers are provided anyway ) but we were harassed and the man was rude to us, but allowed other locals to bring in either the same or larger items. we encountered this throughout the country visitors outside amsterdam foreigners are not always welcomed.
