No longer a dog friendly place to stop after a long walk

点评：Honestly, the sheer audacity of the new "Dog Rules" here has left me utterly fuming. As a responsible dog owner, I am accustomed to being mindful of others, but this list reads like it was written by someone who actively despises our furry companions.
"Please be considerate"? Excuse me, but the tone of the entire sign is anything but considerate! It's accusatory and frankly, quite rude. The subsequent litany of demands feels like we're being treated like unruly children, not valued patrons.
The Scotch used to be a really nice pub that gave a nice welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed stopping off here after a long dog walk as it's in the perfect area. From looking at the points made we know there's one staff member (Blonde Lady) who is less than welcoming to dogs so I guess she's the one who typed this up.
No dogs that Bark? I'm sorry should I ask my dog to 'Meow' instead? "It drives some people insane" - just feels rude and hostile. This is a blatant and insulting generalisation about dogs. If they can't tolerate the occasional natural sound a dog might make, perhaps this lady should consider a different line of business.
The arbitrary time restrictions on Friday and Saturday evenings – feel unnecessarily restrictive and unwelcoming. No dogs after 8pm inside? Exactly what harm are they doing after 8pm?
The begrudging "Thanks" at the end does little to soften the harsh and negative tone of the entire message also. It feels more like an afterthought, a mere formality after a list of demands that paints dog owners as a nuisance
Don't think I'll be coming back again as it all of a sudden doesn't seem welcoming. Good Job we have the likes of The Running Horses who will now be getting my custom. Especially on a Friday and Saturday night.
