点评：Took a 3 Night tour of tanjung puting and loved it so much. We were two adults and two 11 yr olds.
We had a private boat, rustic, nothing fancy, but certainly comfortable enough. We slept on mattresses made up daily,on the deck, under Mosquito nets. The river was peaceful at night during our stay, but I had ear plugs which I was glad I brought, as there was a water outlet emptying from the boat into the river periodically that would have kept me awake otherwise.
We were fed so well, plenty of fresh, delicious indonesian food, they catered for us well as vegetarians.
The crew were the best. Toris gave us a super friendly welcome at the airport and took us to the boat in Kumai. On the boat there was our cook, captain , crew mate and guide. We spent a lot of time with our guide Faris who was an absolute gem. Great English, great local knowledge shared and always happy to answer questions, always quick to smile and have a laugh. My Son enjoyed the company of Faris perhaps even more than visiting the orang-utans!
The captain and crew also went out of their way to give us good opportunities to see wildlife from the boat, even scooping a young croc out for us to have a closer look!! ( I wouldn't be expecting that as a given tho 🤭).
Would highly recommend the trip, and Toris and his crew. 😊
