Amazing sunrise hiking tour

点评：We had a fantastic tour with Mr. Mony in the jungle of the Mondulkiri region.
We booked a sunrise hiking tour which gave us the opportunity to get a glimpse of the gibbon monkeys swinging in the tree tops.
We were picked up at 4:15AM from our hotel and drove for an hour to a remote rain forest community, from where we took off for our hike.
We crossed the river with a bamboo vlot to access the evergreen forest in our search for the wildlife which is living here and got a nice breakfast. Mr. Mony and his colleague told us all about the local eco-system and the importance of conservation of the forest and its wildlife, due to the threat of deforestation.
We were lucky to see a group of gibbons swinging by and this was one of the highlights of the hike. After we hiked over the rocky river bank and concluded with a fresh bathing in the river and enjoyed a tasty lunch made by our guides. On the way back we had the opportunity to visit anther rainforest community before it was time to get back to the hotel.
A big thanks to Mr. Mony, his son, and his colleague for taking good care and organizing this nice trip! We won’t forget his warm personality
