点评：Trip of a lifetime, bucket list, life changing! If you're on the fence about booking....just do it! Ride Egypt has top notch horses, the sweetest team, and Egypt is a beautiful country! If you like horses and history- this is your trip!
As a solo female traveler, I will admit that I was apprehensive about visiting Egypt. But a member of the Ride Egypt team is with you from airport pickup at the start to airport drop off at the end- I have never felt so cared for and safe! Don't let fear stop you from this wonderful experience!
Let's talk about the horses! I work in the veterinary field and animal welfare is very important to me. Every single Ride Egypt horse is healthy, happy, and so very well cared for! The rider form helps the team match you with your horses(so be honest!). They have horses for equestrians of all levels- from fast and spicy(my personal favorite) for the experienced rider to a safe steady ride for a more intermediate rider! These horses are fast but very responsive and safe! Every horse had a different personality and I fell in love with EVERY horse I had the privilege of riding! Baraket aka The Black Stallion, Moktar, Big Red, Maka, and Amir- I will carry you with me forever!
The Ride Egypt Team is full of the kindest people who are focused on making sure you feel safe and enjoy your time in Egypt! From drivers, riding guides, egyptologists, to hotel staff....everyone was warm, welcoming, and such a pleasure to travel with! Special shout out to Ahmed who stayed with us from Luxor to Hurghada- it was an absolute pleasure getting to know you! Hady and Yousef in Cairo, Yousef in Luxor- you are so sweet and I enjoyed our talks about horses, Tommy in Luxor-Thanks for sharing Big Red, our guides in Cairo and Hurghada were wonderful as well! Gemma, thank you for all your work behind the scenes and touching base with us through every step of the trip! Emma- it was a privilege to meet and laugh with you! Thank you for creating such a wonderfully run bucket list equestrian holiday! The entire team is absolutely top notch and I'm lucky to consider them friends!
The experiences that come with this trip are absolute magic. Galloping past the pyramids, standing at the feet of the sphynx, gazing up at the pyramids, cantering through green fields of sugar cane, watching the sunrise from horseback as hot air balloons rise into the sky, swimming with horses, and many temples, tombs, museums, and historical sites! An absolute dream!
