Scenic walk, with lots of interesting facts
Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve的点评
点评：The reserve is bounded by a very good easy walk path from Manly Beach.
The views of this pristine piece of the ocean forms the backdrop to this walk. There were people swimming and snorkeling along the rocky shore.
As you walk along there are information boards about the aquatic life in the sea and the bird, reptile and mammals that can be found along the coast and bush.
The walk takes you past Shelly Beach and up onto the head land, where you can walk through the natural vegetation and a number of lookout points allow you to view the ocean. We managed to spot a few waterspouts from the passing whales as well, but they are quite far out to sea. There were also a number of Bush Turkeys walkinh around and scratching in the bushes,
If you are thirsty there is a quint little cafe near Shelly Beach, which do a great takeaway coffee, just what we needed on a chilly July day.
If you are in Manly, it is well worth a couple of hours to walk the paths around the reserve.
