The level of maintenance now seems to hover at basic caretaking — just enough to keep things barely functional, rather than enjoyable. Unfortunately, this mirrors the broader sense of neglect that’s crept in over the past 12 years.
What left the strongest impression on this trip, however, was not the state of the course, but the handling of a billing issue. On April 11th, I was incorrectly charged for a round of golf — something the club quickly acknowledged after checking their system. As a villa owner entitled to a preferential rate, I raised the discrepancy expecting it to be resolved amicably. Instead, I was met with a response that was not only indifferent, but bordered on hostile. There was no apology, no effort to make things right — just a blunt refusal to engage. It was a deeply disappointing interaction.
As a result, I’ve made the decision to take my golf elsewhere. I won’t be returning to play, nor will I be bringing guests — a decision I will only reconsider if there is a significant change in ownership and management.
Given the current state of both the course and the customer service, I cannot recommend playing here.
