点评:On July 15, 2024, a renter from Turbo Rent a Car collided with my parked car while driving his quad. The customer, who was driving the quad, was friendly and admitted fault. Because of this, I decided not to involve the police. After much back and forth, we finally received an accident report form from Turbo Rent a Car. However, without any assistance from the company, we had to navigate through the (Spanish) form ourselves. The renter was a French-speaking Swiss, and I am German, and since neither of us spoke much Spanish, completing the document was quite difficult.
Once I was back home in Germany, I contacted the "Central Association of Insurers" to ask whether the accident had already been reported by Turbo Rent a Car. AXA informed me that it had not been reported.
Turbo Rent a Car has shown no response whatsoever—they are simply ignoring the situation! I have already had an assessment done, and the damage amounts to around €5,500. I followed up with AXA again, but Turbo Rent a Car still hasn’t reported the incident to their insurance.
When I inquired again with Turbo Rent a Car, they merely told me that I would have to contact their insurance company. But how am I supposed to do that when they haven’t even reported the damage?
If there’s no progress on this matter very soon, I will be involving my lawyer. The way Turbo Rent a Car is handling this situation is simply outrageous!
