点评:The ride to Kaludiya Pokuna was by a three wheel(Asanka-Tuk Bro) that took us through a bumpy road leading us to a dense forest. Without expecting much we walked through a path in the forest that led us to an ancient ruin belonging to 60 monks. Caves surrounded the ruin at various spots to protect the monks from rain. The forest looks undisturbed by the lack of human interactions, which preserves the forest and its ruins. Our Three Wheel driver took us up further from where the ruin was and led us deeper into the forest where we came across multiple cold streams which was perfect for dipping your feet into. After a pretty long walk and climbing up rocks we finally reached the near top and admired the scenery. The view of the luscious greenery below us with the mountains peaking through the fog was mesmerising. The pokuna itself is of a unique colour due to its rocks. It was where the monks once took washes in. As we climbed down the mountain we reached a mini waterfall/stream which was almost knee deep. The trees surrounded the stream on the black rock. Overall it was an amazing experience and
had we not gone with the guide Asanka we'd have most likely not been able to gain almost half of the experiences we had including the hidden views of nature.
