点评：We recently visited the Dambulla Royal Kaludiya Pokuna, but unfortunately, we went without a chauffeur guide and struggled to find the location on our own. However, when we contacted our hotel, they promptly organized a chauffeur guide for us, and we managed to reach the site. The road conditions are very poor; without a four-wheel-drive vehicle, it is nearly impossible to reach the temple, and attempting the journey in a smaller car could cause serious damage due to the rough terrain.
Despite the challenging journey, the ancient temple and its surroundings were worth the effort. The site offers peaceful meditation spots and much to explore within the cultural triangle. The Cultural Triangle Fund should give this place more prominence, as it would greatly benefit the local villages and communities. Overall, it was a unique and enriching experience.
