点评:Inside was an amazing collection of fire equipment, trucks, patches, etc as well as recognition and memorials for fire fighters.
It was quite impressive to see some of the earliest forms of fire fighting equipment. One of the docents even demonstrated how one of them worked (normally required 50 people to fully operate the manual pumping)! There was lots of informative details throughout the museum to provide good context for what we saw.
Collections of helmets, patches, fire equipment, 9-11, etc were distributed around the museum. The museum even included exhibits from other countries like Japan. There was even a hands on area geared towards the kids.
Parking was free but make sure you pull into their lot.
Admission was $17 but if you have to use a credit card to pay then they add another 68 cents.
