点评:When you read reviews, pay attention to the month. We arrived in January during the dry season. It may be different during the "green" season due to rain and runoff from the rivers.
This is a beautiful beach on the Golfo Dulce. It has a spot marked for swimming (protected from boat traffic) but we only saw one boat anywhere near the shore one time. Because it is in the Gulf, you can see the Pacific Ocean but the waves are very minimal. The water was clear enough to snorkel, but it didn't have a lot of reef fish around - so just enjoy the swimming.
The water is warm and there was almost no one on the beach. I saw no more than five people on the beach as far as I could see either way. In fact, we saw more scarlet macaws (a lot!) than people. A restaurant with restrooms is nearby and several lodges are on that road, so it isn't in the middle of nowhere.
We returned here almost every day to spend a few hours in the warm water and watch the wildlife. Heavenly stuff.
