Hawk Ridge Winery的点评
点评：We met friends here for a casual afternoon of good company and good wine, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This winery was a lot larger than I realized, and I was grateful to have staff members directing traffic throughout the parking lot (which is also big!). This winery was very crowded when we arrived, as it was an actual nice day without any rain. They have an extensive wine menu; we tried the Smooth Landing and the Western CT Highlands Estate (both rosés), and both were fantastic! My friend got a flight of six red wines, and all of the wines she tried were very good. They also have a full food menu, which I hadn't expected - we tried the cheeseboard and the eggplant fries, and both were fantastic. I saw other people eating flatbreads and sandwiches, so we might try those the next time we're here. The staff are fantastic as well; we wanted to get a bag to take home our wine glasses, and the gentleman behind the counter gave us new, clean glasses instead (as well as a bag). This winery is in a bucolic setting, so the views were gorgeous.
